My love for photography began on the sidelines of my son’s soccer games. I kept upgrading my camera, convinced I needed better gear to capture him in action, until I realized it wasn’t the equipment but the craft.

A mentor soon came into my life and changed everything. He taught me on the spot — how to use my camera, how to edit, how to stay still even without a tripod. Together we chased light at lighthouses like Point Bonita, watched the Golden Gate disappear in fog, and took trips where every lesson was lived, not just explained. Those early adventures gave me both skills and confidence, but also a way of seeing the world.
Since then, my camera has been my passport into nature’s most powerful and delicate places. 

Photography, for me, is not just about images. It is about being fully present — the cold wind at a mountain’s peak, the spray of salt at the shoreline, the patience of waiting for the right light. Each photograph holds not only what I saw but what I felt in that moment.

Through my work, I hope to share those feelings — the peace of a mountain, the strength of the ocean, the quiet awe of flowers and light. What began as a way to freeze moments of my son’s childhood has become my lifelong way of connecting to the beauty around me, and inviting others to pause and feel it too.
